Here are various maxscripts and plugins I've written for 3ds max. You may use them comercially, re-distribute and alter them, only selling them is prohibited. Unless otherwise specified!
 

BerconMaps, advanced procedural maps


Offers you five very powerfull new maps which are Noise, Wood, Tile, Gradient and Distortion.
 
I suggest you also read each individual maps Help/Tutorial pages since the maps are quite versatile and not all the features are obvious.

FloorGenerator & MultiTexture


I wrote these two tools for CG-Source. Floor Generator creates the floor geometry of any shape and you'll have full control over all parameters from beveled edges to tilt of the planks.
 
To accompany this floor is MultiTexture map which gives you the ability to randomly assign any number of bitmaps to the generated floor. Also offers random color variation.

Bercon Preview Render (VRay Preview Render)


The tool overrides all your material, shadow and render settings while rendering and then restores the previous settings after the preview is rendered.
Note: If you want to assign BerconPreviewRender to toolbar as a button you'll need the Macroscript. Run it once, then go to Customize->Customize User Interface->Toolbars tab->Category: Bercon->Open Bercon Preview Render.

Schematic Material Editor


Node-based material editor view for 3ds max. While it doesn't completely replace the original material editor it offers you fully functional node view of your materials. This makes it a lot easier to work complex maps with many levels of submaps.

Bercon PFlow +


Modified Spawn and Collision Spawn operators for maxscripters. Both store the particle ID of their parent to spawned particles Integer channel. In addition to this the modified Collision Spawn test also stores the normal vector of the object at the impact point into Vector channel.

Instal: Download the file, unpack it, select the correct plugin file and move it to your .../3dsmax/plugins/ folder. (Max 9 and 2008 use the same files)

Creates complex lightning between two or more points, unfinished but works

Sierpinski Pyramid object


Classic Sierpinski Pyramid fractal object for max. You can adjust size, degree (supports different degree for render) and type (tetras and pyramids). Works only in 3ds max 9 32bit
Instal: Save file to 3dsmax/plugins/ folder, the new object will appear under "Fractals" category when you next time start 3ds max.
