Chess

Done in 3ds max and rendered with VRay. Chess pieces were modeled using splines and nurbs with the exception of knight which was done using polys and displacement for the mane. Stone Face

Done in 3ds max and rendered with VRay. Poly modeling test on slightly more complex model. Displacement map is procedural texture as is the diffuse map. Lighting uses IBL (HDRI) and one direct light. Below are also various tests I did with different materials and lighting.
